Making Quantum Leaps IN YOUR SLEEP! How to Rewire your brain faster and more effectively
We all have parts of our mind we'd like to change. But, contrary to popular belief, it doesn't have to take as long as we think it does to shift a whole bunch of neural networks into wiring a different way (particularly, wiring the way we want them to.)
I connected with so many business moguls and healers over the last weekend, in which the trending topic appeared to be accelerated growth. Some informed me of bridging the gap between standard and higher consciousness, while others stumbled on my path to remind me that what you project is what you perceive.
But, one man I met, explained to me that most of the deep, biological re-wiring comes during a time of subconscious receptivity.
I'm sure you've heard that as you're falling asleep and waking up are the times when you're brain is most impressionable. When you're floating around the Alpha state, your brain is in a subconscious frame of mind. This makes it the most forward condition to become aware of what lingers in your idle brainwaves and seeing what patterns your brain is truly working with on the unconscious scale.
One of the healers suggested that if you wanted to make a change in your mind, your ideal time of day for eliminating and reprogramming would rest between waking up and falling asleep.
Surely he explained the science and mysticism of it, so I put his insights into the test.
Last night, without much effort, I woke up a few times. As I made my way to slumber, I focused on feeling and thinking ideal situations that I would like to bring into my life, and allowing myself to reset the energy of the day by following a guided energy-clearing session (that I posted to the podcast.)
Naturally, I woke up about 2 times in the mid-night, in which, during so I did a few guided meditations until I got the hang of reciting it myself. I thought it was a better idea to follow the guidance of an experienced healer rather than blindly try to reprogram my mind while it ways waking from vivid dreams.
What I gathered from waking up throughout the night was that I, naturally, tended to wake up off-energy. Either I would wake up restless, impatient, having to pee, in autopilot or, even at some point, anxious and grumpy.
At the moment where my awareness brought me a reminder to practice rewiring, I was not in a position to effectively work with my subconscious.
Not only did I try thinking thoughts against the current of what I was feeling, but I was also dazed and confused about the meaning of what I wanted.
So, I went back to bed. I affirmed my truths, things I knew couldn't be debated but could always use the opportunity to get imprinted in the mind. I told myself things like "I am loved," "my work here is valued," "I am open to receiving guidance and healing," and affirmations of such that wouldn't contradict the energy or the deep subconscious beliefs that were playing in my mind.
The second time I woke up, I decided it was time to step it up. I had a 10-minute transition between waking up, getting water, going to the washroom, and getting back to bed.
The same feelings of grumpiness and angst followed me from my slumber, so I knew that effective re-wiring was not on the menu this time around either.
Instead, I focused on my energy. Here is where I made those leaps and bounds.
When you wake up in the middle of the night, you're feeling but a small group (of a wide-range) of emotions.
Your subconscious mind will naturally play whatever thoughts resonate with that frequency so, as opposed to trying to reprogram your mind manually, the real bridging of the gap comes from re-wiring your energy.
Angst will always feel and think anxious thoughts. But! The moment you shift into peace, or truth, or even gratitude, all your thoughts will shift along with it.
It's much easier to think of free, light, and joyful thoughts from dawn and dusk if you're focused on those emotions. That's exactly what I practiced.
When I woke up this morning, I finally got the hang of it. I woke up realizing it wasn't just the thoughts I needed to re-wire my subconscious mind. It was also the energy I was feeling; the emotions I want to dominate my subconscious.
So, if you want to accelerate your growth, you have to think in terms of preferred vs. non-preferred state of living.
I didn't enjoy waking up anxious, but I do like feeling peaceful and at ease when I'm sitting on the toilet in the middle of the night and especially when I wake up.
There are many ways you can talk yourself into feeling better, but only a few ways to effectively rewire your brain to think about what you want.
I found that recognizing the difference between thoughts and energy that are preferable for me and the thoughts and emotions that feel heavy and unwanted was the simplest way to bridge the gap between accelerated growth and slow-paced reprogramming.
In the case of subconscious receptivity and being so sleepy you can barely think, it was much easier to focus on feeling good in those moments of waking up than it was to embed thoughts in my mind that I wanted to have.
The truth is, you have all day to focus on feeling good and thinking of what you want to create. But, you can't do so when you woke up on the wrong side of the bed.
Starting the day and ending the night with conscious (or sub-conscious) feeling good is the best way to get your mind to think thoughts of that resonated vibration.
Getting to know what feels good and isn't so preferable for you is also work you can do in the times of waking and slumber. Your energy will instantly tell you when you feel good and when you feel bad. Your next step is to distinguish which thoughts are associated with your positive feelings and what thoughts are associated with not feeling so good.
Either way, I hope you gathered helpful information. I'll be posting a few more articles regarding what I learned about this deep, accelerated growth process this week!
